While I do not give my son (11 months) very spicy food, he does enjoy chili with spicy peppers in it and loves the "spicy" sauce on the Domino's pizza. He prefers his onions raw. My biggest concern with the spice is if it will upset his tummy, but we havent' had any problems yet. I don't give him much, usually rinsing the sauce off his chili, but I am not too concerned. I know several children that ate spicy foods fromthe start, including cajun eggplant stuffing that I thought was hot. I guess every child is different!
