My little brother has down-syndrome. and if you didnt know him, you wouldnt even be able to tell! he looks like any other person in this world. so dont talk about them like theyre some sort of alien. i love my brother and wouldntc hange him for the world. tehyre perfect the way they are and i REALLY dont like the fact that youve just made them out to be somewhat animal like. this isnt towards the comments above me coz i agree absolutly with these, its just the actual information im disgusted by. im sure people would be hurt by this, becuase your practically calling them to be something theyre not. your making it out like theyre not normal, but really, whats normal?

‘states that EVERY person with Down syndrome share the exact characteristics as each other when that is just false.’ I really didn’t mean ‘states’ because you never really stated that EVERY person with Down syndrome is the same it’s just the way you worded all this information, it kind of comes off as if you’re saying they’re the same in every way and we can distinguish who does and doesn’t have Down syndrome based solely on their features. I have met a lot of people with Down syndrome and quite a few of them didn’t look like they have Down syndrome.

You obviously wrote this to inform parents-to-be about Down syndrome but your entire article states that EVERY person with Down syndrome share the exact characteristics as each other when that is just false. They may share SOME but NOT ALL characteristics. You speak of them as if they were their own race of human/animal. They share the BASIC characteristics as any other human being. It seems to me that you copy/pasted information from an OUT-OF-DATE MEDICAL TEXTBOOK! I can’t even believe you used the word mongoloid to describe their features. Anyway, I just had to share my thoughts on this ridiculous article. Thanks for your time and hopefully you’ll state EXACT FACTS and not just your simple-minded opinions next time.
